And just when I thought they ran out of ways to make Sui and Tokitaka look even more like they’re married, they do this… :D;; I’m pretty sure they’re not even trying not to make them look like they’re married, but hey, I absolutely appreciate the service.
I kind of wish they had adapted that Tokitaka centric chapter from the manga where he talks about his friendship with Sui and how much it means to him, it’s so sweet. I guess they changed it in the anime due to pacing/writing/focus reasons, but in the manga Tokitaka repairs Yakyou’s broken cup on his own, to cheer Sui up. Tokitaka is trying, in his own quiet way, to help mending the relationship between the brothers, apparently as a way to give Sui back some of what he received from him.
And then Yakyou and Tsunozaki… Who wants to bet that this scene was, at one point during planning, Tsunozaki feeding Yakyou the cake? :D;;
Anyway, aaawwwww, this show. I loved it so much! It was criminally underappreciated so I’m going to pimp it to everyone now.
I’m pretty sure there’s not going to be a second season, but just like with Miira no Kaikata last season, at least there’s still the manga!
